Vilnius Street

Vilnius Street

Vilnius Street is the most beautiful pedestrian street in Kaunas Old Town. It joins the Old and New Kaunas. Some buildings of the Vilnius Street date back to the XVI century, many of them, of course, are renovated, but all have preserved the Old Town spirit. Unique telephone boxes stress the long history of the street.

Wow. Just found Seartu, China, by floating arnoud. You gotta check it out. It's a large oil and mineral production city... mindboggling. Harbin is the major inland city in the northeast portion of Cina (between the Korean Peninsula, Mongolia and Russia). Saertu is NW of Harbin on the rail line. Enjoy.

3 of 3 people found the flloowing review helpful Ok on the countries it covers, January 24, 2008Bya0 (Allentown, PA United States) a0a0 This review is from: This book is ok.I'm living in Prague now, and plan to travel eastward. It has helped me in Slovakia and Hungary and the Czech Republic. The problem is that I want to travel to the Balkans romania, bulgaria, and croatia are the only places covered in this book. The rest of the Balkans are completely not in there. Also, it would be nice to put Greece in the Eastern Europe book as well as the western. I know it isn't thought of as Eastern, but the Geography kind of makes it a good place to visit while going through the Balkans.P.S. Prague is NOT a trainwreck!!! I live here, and enjoy every minute of it. I'm sorry if there are tourists here, but you will run into tourists everywhere. If you are looking for a local experience, get out of Wen.
